POLYETHYLENE POLYMERIC MATERIAL
Our PE tubes are 100% recyclable, single-layer giving the tube a certain flexibility. Its light weight is one of its prime advantages over other packaging.
What’s more, we can add greater environmental and recyclable value by using it as a mono- material that is, using it as either a tube or a cap of the same material.
One of the options Petroplast can offer is COEX. The distinctive feature of this material compared to others is its barrier effect (impermeability to certain substances). Moreover, its layers can be combined using different materials, for example PCR, PE, PE-GREEN, by combining these or else using the same material for all the layers, which will make it a more sustainable option.
MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY MATERIAL
Tubes made with materials which respect our planet better. We believe in environmental sustainability. Aimed at any sector and applicable to all the tubes and design formats since they keep the same functionality as traditional polyethylene. The use of recycled materials reduces both the extraction and use of additional coal in renewable sources. Reducing the exploitation of fossil fuels involves reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases throughout the process and attenuate pollution of the environment caused by incineration or waste when dumping in landfill sites. In addition, this contributes to the development of the circular economy and reduces waste in general.
MATERIAL OF PLANT ORIGIN
This material of plant origin is obtained from sugar cane and its key feature is the direct contribution to a reduction in greenhouse gases, thanks to the capture of carbon gas that is generated during the growing process. Specifically, the Evaluation of the Life Cycle of this polyethylene has been calculated as making a contribution of 2.78 tonnes of CO2 captured per tonne of renewable resin manufactured.
POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED MATERIAL
PCR is a material in which waste generated in the domestic, commercial and industrial spheres are used, once the material can no longer be used for its initial purpose. In this way, the material returns to the chain to be transformed into recycled plastic.
